Marketing and Social Media Management

My first job after Oxford was as a strategic planner at Leo Burnett's Istanbul office, and I continued to help many companies (particularly hotels) with their marketing as a freelance consultant, preparing websites, press releases and promotional materials for The Ritz Carlton Istanbul, The House Hotel chain and Maça Kızı hotel, among others. I now run the Istanbul branch of the San Francisco-based ad agency, 9dotz, established by my brother, Han Delin. I head a team of Istanbul-based project managers, account executives and graphic designers working on social media content and management for 9dotz' US clients including Franzia wines, Benziger wines and Silo.

 

I also created the website for my own company, Momcierge, and do all my own social media.

Copy Editing / Translation

I am a meticulous copy editor, having been trained at The New Yorker, and worked as the copy editor and fact checker for ArtReview as well as Heineken and Gas magazines. I also do corporate writing, especially hotel websites like The House Hotel and MaçaKızı. My corporate translation (from Turkish to English only)  clients include Eczacıbaşı Holding, Bosch Siemens Hausgerate Turkey, Turkcell, the Çırağan Palace Hotel Kempinski, The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul, and Divan Holding.
