I have acted in TV ads for Turkcell, Migros and Kuveyt Türk. While a student at Oxford University, I performed in the Oxford University Dramatic Society (OUDS) production of Yonadab (co-directed by Peter Shaffer), the opera Dido and Aeneas (Henry Purcell), and also acted in and directed My Children, My Africa (Athol Fugard).
I was trained in diction, drama and took singing lessons in the UK and performed in numerous musicals, operas and acting competitions. In 1993, I was accepted to the Manchester Youth Theatre and played the lead in Our Town (Thornton Wilder) (click for link to review in The Independent).
I have been a member of the Istanbul European Choir, and performed in many musicals with Istanbul-based community theatre Speechbubbles, including the lead, Sophie, in Mamma Mia, and Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast (click for link to review in Hürriyet).
I have also done voiceovers and jingles for over 80 Turkish and international companies, including Microsoft, Turkish Airlines, Emirates and Bosch.
