I'm a freelance writer, business owner and voice artist based in Istanbul.
Half American, half Turkish, I grew up in the US, Turkey, Egypt, Hong Kong and the UK. I studied English Language and Literature at Oxford University.
I founded Momcierge–the world's first family travel concierge–in 2013 after becoming a mom and seeing firsthand how hard it is to travel with kids.
As a travel writer, I write the Louis Vuitton Istanbul City Guide, and my work has been in The Guardian, Monocle, Conde Nast Traveller and Wallpaper.

A trained voice actor and singer, I have done voiceovers in English for over 100 clients, and acted in various ads, short films, stage productions and musicals.

I also do corporate writing and consulting, including social media content, websites, copywriting, translation (Turkish to English) and editing.

I am most proud of a story I wrote for Granta about my Turkish grandmother.

I'm married, have two young sons, and a lot of tabs open on my computer.
